Monty devotes his practice primarily to general liability and workers compensation defense. He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Mississippi and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi. He is a member of The Mississippi Bar.

Born on September 26, 1970, Monty is a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree (1998) and his Master of Education degree (2005) from the University of Southern Mississippi. Monty attended Mississippi College School of Law, and he earned his law degree in 2008.

Monty joined the firm of Markow Walker, P.A. in May 2010. He is married to the former Kathryn Smith and resides in Biloxi with their three children, Monty Michael, Maddox and Molly.
