Richard Coker

Richard Coker devotes his practice
primarily to insurance defense with an emphasis in workers'
compensation and employment law. He is admitted to practice
before all Mississippi courts. He is a member of the
National Lawyers Association and The Mississippi Bar.
As a member of The Mississippi Bar, he has served on
various committees, including service on the Executive
Committee of the Administrative Law and Workers' Compensation
Section, having served as chair of that section in 1994-1995
and vice-chair in 1993-1994. He has served as a faculty
member for various seminars on workers' compensation
including those sponsored by the Mississippi Workers'
Compensation Commission, Home Builders Association of
Mississippi, Home Builders Association of Jackson, Louisiana
Claims Association, National Business Institute, Lorman,
Inc., and CISI. Richard is a member of The Federation
of Defense and Corporate Counsel.
Richard graduated from the University
of Mississippi and received his JD degree from the University
of Mississippi School of Law in 1981.
Richard resides in Jackson with his
wife, Leslie, his sons, Matthew and Stephen, and his
daughter Anna Katherine. |
