Pepper Cossar

Pepper Cossar devotes his practice
primarily to workers' compensation and also works in
the general liability division handling the defense of
personal injury claims as well as representing physicians
in the medical malpractice division regarding pharmaceutical
mass tort litigation. He is admitted to practice before
all state and federal courts in Mississippi and Alabama.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Mississippi
Bar Association, the Madison County Bar Association,
and the Alabama Bar Association, as well as being a member
of the Young Lawyers Association. He is on the Board of Directors of the Law Alumni Chapter of the University of Mississippi School of Law.
He has received an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell and has served as a
faculty member for various seminars on workers' compensation
including those sponsored by the National Business Institute,
Lorman, Inc., and CISI. He is also an approved mediator
for the Mississippi Bar's Pilot Mediation Program for
workers' compensation cases, and is President of Madison County Bar Association.
Pepper graduated from the University
of Mississippi and received his J. D. degree from the
University of Mississippi School of Law in 1989. He practiced
in Birmingham, Alabama, for two years representing title
insurance companies prior to returning to Mississippi
where his practice consisted initially of general civil
litigation.
Pepper resides in Madison with his
wife, Angela, and their children, Pepper, Jr., Jessica, Colton and AnnaLee. |
